INTERIM CEO

Drawing from a diverse background in social services and organizational leadership, I bring a wealth of experience and passion to my work. Beginning my career as a Social Worker at Hopewell Center in Anderson, IN, I dedicated myself to supporting individuals and families facing various challenges, providing them with the resources and assistance needed to thrive.

Progressing in my career, I assumed the role of Director of Social Services at United Cerebral Palsy Ohio, where I championed the rights and well-being of individuals with disabilities, advocating for inclusive and equitable opportunities for all.

My journey then led me to serve as the Financial Director for AYS Inc, where I leveraged my financial acumen to ensure the stability and sustainability of programs aimed at supporting youth and families in need.

Transitioning into leadership roles, I served as the Executive Director of Geist Kids Academy, overseeing the development and implementation of high-quality early childhood education programs, fostering the intellectual and emotional growth of young learners.

My dedication to serving diverse communities led me to undertake roles such as Case Management Services at Howard Health, where I provided comprehensive support to individuals navigating complex healthcare systems, and Intake Coordinator and Supervised Visitation Coordinator at Howard Health, where I ensured the safety and well-being of families in crisis.

Further expanding my expertise, I served as the Crisis Intake Coordinator at Prevail, where I provided vital support to survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, guiding them through crisis situations with empathy and compassion. As Operations Coordinator at Meridian Health Services, I played a pivotal role in overseeing the strategic management of programs and services aimed at improving mental health outcomes and promoting holistic wellness within the community.

Currently serving as Interim CEO at Madison County Path, I am committed to driving organizational excellence and fostering positive change in the communities we serve.

Outside of my professional pursuits, I am proud to be married to a dedicated schoolteacher and am the parent of two sons who have chosen careers in criminal justice, reflecting our shared commitment to service and social justice. I find joy and companionship in my beloved Golden Doodles and love taking them to the Beach!

Driven by a passion for making a difference and a steadfast dedication to serving others, I am eager to continue contributing to the betterment of individuals and communities alike.

Melissa Terry

After a 20-year struggle with opiate addiction, I found salvation through faith when I had lost all hope. Today, I stand as a testament to the power of recovery and divine intervention. My journey has instilled in me a deep passion for helping others find their path to sobriety.

As a proud mother of two daughters and grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren, family is at the heart of my life. My faith serves as the bedrock of my existence, guiding me through each day with gratitude and purpose.

In my free time, I find joy in artistic expression through drawing and embracing the great outdoors. These passions have been rediscovered and cherished in my new life of sobriety.

My personal experiences led me to become a Certified Peer Recovery Coach, allowing me to support others on their journey to recovery. Every day, I'm filled with immense gratitude for the beautiful life I now lead.

I firmly believe that if I could overcome my addiction, anyone can. My mission is to spread hope and help others realize that recovery is possible, no matter how dire the circumstances may seem.
